Abdoukhadre Ba - Coffee Painting Workshop

Awoulath Alougbin - Dance Workshop

Naïl Sumbul

Multi-instrumentalist Naïl Sumbul takes you into the mystical world of Ney. Since the 18th century, this reed flute has been a symbol of tolerance, nostalgia, and romanticism. Its origins lie in the religious and the mystical. Nowadays, the wonderful sounds of the Ney are also used to bring more secular works.

Naïl Sumbul is a Turkish musician who plays not only Ney, but also clarinet, oboe and violin. In addition to the more classic scenes, it is often found in the Marolles, where it has its home port.

Abdoukhadre BA

Abdou has been active as a painter for years. He developed his coffee technique out of necessity because he did not always have enough money or access to ordinary paint. But his new painting technique continued to inspire him and in the meantime he has built up a beautiful oeuvre of coffee paintings. In addition to painting with coffee, Abdou also devoted himself to more traditional techniques based on acrylic and pastel paint. The choice of materials also brings him a different style.

Awoulath Alougbin

One thing is to dance and the other is to know where dance leads us. Between time, space, body and spirit, pars and drum, the voice accompanies us in its universe of dances (traditional, ritual and contemporary) we will discover together the poetry of the soul.

Awoulath Alougbin, dancer, singer and choreographer was born in Benin. From an early age, she was immersed in the artistic universe. As a Yoruba, she extended her knowledge of traditional dances during her training at the National Ballet of Benin. Through her meeting with the Haitian choreographer Ketly Noël, she discovered the world of contemporary dance. She confirms her qualities as a dancer and takes part in various creations, such as Les Feuilles qui résistent au vent by choreographer Koffi Kôkô and Le Sacre du Printemps by Heddy Malem.

Wahati Soul - Music Concert

Les Azacuanes - Music Concert

Les Nouvelles Nés - Music Concert

Wahati Soul

Wahati Soul is above all the meeting of two people; their stories, their origins and their musical sensibilities. Mixing blues, pop and jazz with a touch of electro, they make their audience vibrate by making them dance and move.

In this duo, Chama composes and arranges songs with complex and mastered harmonies and unleashes herself with a catchy keyboard. Amanda, for her part, writes lyrics in which she gives all of herself and sings in a deep voice with a flow not unlike that of hip-hop.

Les Azacuanes

Les Azacuanes are musicians from Western and Eastern Europe, Central America, with even more diverse origins…

All of them have taken up residence in Brussels, their beautiful cosmopolitan capital, to share mixed music with pop-Latin mariachi accents.
